Ok, I'll admit I've been ignoring the blog after all those spam comments. And now I've turned on the word verification which should stop them.

My dining table came last Friday. It is fabulous and lovely. Now I'm working on making the rest of the apartment fabulous. I've worked on the patio a bit repotting plants, hanging a lamp and putting down a rug. It's very roomlike now.

Work is out of control. Getting ready for the grand opening and there are like a billion things to do and think about. It's offical now. I have a new boss. We found out last Thursday that the acting director was appointed director. Good for him. I'm remaining positive. And I'm determined not to get beaten down. I'm making plans to go back to school once this grand opening business is over and then we'll see what will happen.

I can't believe it will be September. I love the fall. Granted the fall in California is not really fall but still... I'm looking forward to shorter days, longer hikes, clove cigarettes and hot chocolate.
